“When you speak → people listen, trust, and follow.”
2. 🧱 CORE PRINCIPLE (Simple Formula)
Use this every time you speak:
👉 IMPACT Formula
- I = Intent → What do you want?
- M = Message → What are you saying?
- P = Power words → Strong, clear words
- A = Authority tone → Calm, not weak
- C = Clarity → Simple, no confusion
- T = Timing → Speak at the right moment
3. 🗣️ THE 3 LEVELS OF SPEAKING
Level 1: ❌ Weak Speaker
- Talks too much
- Not clear
- Uses “maybe”, “I think”, “not sure”
👉 Example:
“Maybe we can try… I think this might work…”
Level 2: ⚖️ Normal Speaker
- Gives information
- But not strong
👉 Example:
“We should do it this way.”
Level 3: ✅ IMPACT Speaker (You need this)
- Clear
- Short
- Confident
- Direct
👉 Example:
“We will do it this way. It saves time and reduces cost.”
4. 🔑 THE 5 RULES OF IMPACT SPEAKING
1. 🎯 Speak with PURPOSE
Before speaking, ask:
👉 “What result do I want?”
2. ✂️ Keep it SHORT
- No long explanation
- No unnecessary words
❌ Bad:
“So basically what I mean is…”
✅ Good:
“Here’s the plan.”
3. 💪 Use STRONG WORDS
Replace weak → strong:
- “maybe” → “we will”
- “try” → “execute”
- “I think” → “the best option is”
4. 🧊 Control your TONE
- Speak slow
- Pause
- Don’t rush
👉 Power comes from calm voice, not loud voice
5. 👁️ Look & Lead
- Eye contact
- Stand straight
- Speak like a leader

👷 With Workers
❌ Weak:
“Can you try to finish this today?”
✅ IMPACT:
“Finish this today. I will check at 5 PM.”
👷 With Engineer / Team
❌ Weak:
“Maybe we should adjust this…”
✅ IMPACT:
“Adjust this alignment. It will improve accuracy.”
🧑💼 With Client
❌ Weak:
“I think this design is okay…”
✅ IMPACT:
“This design is the best option. It balances cost and quality.”
6. 🧠 ADVANCED: THE “3-STEP COMMAND” METHOD
Use this when giving instructions:
👉 1. Direction → 2. Reason → 3. Control
Example:
“Pour concrete at 3 PM.
Temperature is better.
I will inspect after.”

- Talking too fast
- Explaining too much

- Asking instead of leading

Practice 3 things:
- Speak short sentences
- Replace weak words → strong words
- Use pause before speaking
