SOP: Quality Check

1. Purpose

To make sure every work item is completed correctly, safely, and according to the drawing, specification, and client requirements before moving to the next step.

2. Main Principle

Check before, during, and after work.
Quality is not repaired at the end; quality is controlled every day.

3. Quality Check Steps

Step 1: Check Drawing and Specification

Before starting work, confirm:

  • Latest drawing version

  • Correct dimensions

  • Correct material

  • Correct method

  • Required standard or code

Step 2: Check Material

Before using material, check:

  • Quantity

  • Size

  • Brand or type

  • Damage

  • Delivery note

  • Storage condition

Step 3: Check Workmanship

During work, check:

  • Alignment

  • Level

  • Plumb

  • Spacing

  • Connection

  • Finishing quality

  • Safety condition

Step 4: Check Measurement

Use proper tools:

  • Tape measure

  • Level tool

  • Laser level

  • Plumb bob

  • Checklist

  • Photo record

Step 5: Record Problems

If there is a defect:

  • Take photo

  • Mark location

  • Write problem clearly

  • Assign responsible person

  • Set deadline to fix

Step 6: Recheck After Correction

After fixing:

  • Inspect again

  • Compare with standard

  • Take final photo

  • Approve only when correct

4. Quality Check Rule

No approval = No next step.

Do not cover, close, pour concrete, paint, or continue the next work until the current work is checked and approved.

5. Daily Quality Checklist

  • Drawing checked

  • Work area checked

  • Worker understands task

  • Work quality inspected

  • Defects recorded

  • Defects corrected

  • Final photo saved

  • Supervisor approved

Workers
Do the work properly and fix defects.

Reviews major quality issues and approves important work.
