🧠 SOP: Complete the Feedback Loop System

Purpose:
To ensure continuous improvement in construction projects by creating a closed-loop system of action, review, and improvement.


🎯 01. DEFINE THE TASK (PLAN)

Objective: Know clearly what needs to be done before execution.

  • Review drawings, specs, and BOQ
  • Define method of work (Method Statement)
  • Assign team responsibilities
  • Set quality standard (ACI / Project Spec)

Example:
Beam casting → confirm size, rebar, spacing, formwork, level


⚙️ 02. EXECUTE THE WORK (DO)

Objective: Perform the work according to plan.

  • Site engineer supervises daily work
  • Workers follow instructions
  • Ensure safety compliance
  • Record progress (daily report)

Rule:
👉 Build exactly as planned — no guessing


🔍 03. INSPECT & COLLECT FEEDBACK (CHECK)

Objective: Identify errors, gaps, and improvement areas.

  • Check dimensions, alignment, finishing
  • Compare with drawing and standard
  • Take photos and site notes
  • Get feedback from:
    • Engineer
    • Supervisor
    • Client / Consultant

Example:
Slab surface uneven → identify cause (level control problem)


🛠️ 04. ANALYZE & IMPROVE (ADJUST)

Objective: Fix root cause — not just surface problem.

  • Discuss with team (5–10 min meeting)
  • Identify root cause:
    • Poor supervision?
    • Wrong method?
    • Unskilled worker?
  • Update method or instruction
  • Train team if needed

Rule:
👉 No blame — only improvement


🔁 05. APPLY & REPEAT (LOOP)

Objective: Ensure improvement is used in next work.

  • Apply new method immediately
  • Monitor next execution
  • Repeat feedback process

Result:
👉 Each project becomes better than the last
