SOP: Focus System (No Distraction System)
1. Purpose
To protect your attention, finish important work faster, and reduce distractions from phone, social media, noise, and random thoughts.
2. Core Rule
Focus means: one task, one place, one time.
Do not mix:
Work + movie
Work + Facebook
Work + random chat
Work + many tabs
3. Focus Levels
| Level | Meaning | Use For |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Light Focus | Easy work, cleaning, organizing |
| Level 2 | Deep Focus | Design, BOQ, planning, writing |
| Level 3 | Critical Focus | Client work, decision, problem solving |
4. Daily Focus Routine
Morning
Write the top 3 tasks.
Choose the most important task.
Set focus time: 25–50 minutes.
Put phone away or turn on Focus Mode.
During Work
Open only the tools needed.
Close unrelated tabs.
Keep one notebook for random ideas.
When distracted, write it down and return to work.
After Focus Session
Check what was finished.
Take a 5–10 minute break.
Start the next focus session.
5. No Distraction Rules
Phone Rule: Keep phone away during deep work.
Tab Rule: Only 1–3 tabs open.
Chat Rule: Reply after focus time, not during focus time.
Movie Rule: No movie during serious work.
Noise Rule: Use quiet place or simple background sound.
Idea Rule: Write random ideas, do not follow them immediately.
6. Focus Timer System
Use this cycle:
25 minutes focus + 5 minutes break
or
50 minutes focus + 10 minutes break
For construction management, use:
Morning planning: 30 minutes
Site checking: 60–90 minutes
Document work: 50 minutes
Team review: 15 minutes
7. Distraction Control Checklist
Before starting, ask:
What is my one task?
What result do I need?
What tools do I need?
What should I close?
Where is my phone?
When will I stop?
8. 8AM Team Focus Standard
For your construction team:
Daily task must be clear before work starts.
Workers should not wait without instruction.
Telegram messages must be short and clear.
Team leader checks progress at fixed times.
Problems must be reported early, not at the end.
No unnecessary talking during critical work.
Site photos must be sent with task name and location.
9. Focus KPI Dashboard
| KPI | Target |
|---|---|
| Deep work sessions | 2–4 per day |
| Phone distraction | Less than 5 times/day |
| Top 3 task completion | 80%+ |
| Rework caused by distraction | 0 |
| Late task report | 0 |
| Telegram response time | Fixed check time, not all day |
10. Emergency Reset
When you lose focus:
Stop.
Take 3 deep breaths.
Write: “What am I doing now?”
Choose one task.
Set 10-minute timer.
Start again.
11. Simple Daily Command
“One task first. Finish before switching.”
