SOP: Focus System (No Distraction System)

1. Purpose

To protect your attention, finish important work faster, and reduce distractions from phone, social media, noise, and random thoughts.

2. Core Rule

Focus means: one task, one place, one time.

Do not mix:

  • Work + movie

  • Work + Facebook

  • Work + random chat

  • Work + many tabs

3. Focus Levels

4. Daily Focus Routine

Morning

  1. Write the top 3 tasks.

  2. Choose the most important task.

  3. Set focus time: 25–50 minutes.

  4. Put phone away or turn on Focus Mode.

During Work

  1. Open only the tools needed.

  2. Close unrelated tabs.

  3. Keep one notebook for random ideas.

  4. When distracted, write it down and return to work.

After Focus Session

  1. Check what was finished.

  2. Take a 5–10 minute break.

  3. Start the next focus session.

5. No Distraction Rules

Phone Rule: Keep phone away during deep work.
Tab Rule: Only 1–3 tabs open.
Chat Rule: Reply after focus time, not during focus time.
Movie Rule: No movie during serious work.
Noise Rule: Use quiet place or simple background sound.
Idea Rule: Write random ideas, do not follow them immediately.

6. Focus Timer System

Use this cycle:

25 minutes focus + 5 minutes break
or
50 minutes focus + 10 minutes break

For construction management, use:

Morning planning: 30 minutes
Site checking: 60–90 minutes
Document work: 50 minutes
Team review: 15 minutes

7. Distraction Control Checklist

Before starting, ask:

  • What is my one task?

  • What result do I need?

  • What tools do I need?

  • What should I close?

  • Where is my phone?

  • When will I stop?

8. 8AM Team Focus Standard

For your construction team:

  1. Daily task must be clear before work starts.

  2. Workers should not wait without instruction.

  3. Telegram messages must be short and clear.

  4. Team leader checks progress at fixed times.

  5. Problems must be reported early, not at the end.

  6. No unnecessary talking during critical work.

  7. Site photos must be sent with task name and location.

10. Emergency Reset

When you lose focus:

  1. Stop.
