Break the sentence into parts (easy English + Khmer)

4) Comprehension & Inference

Read the whole idea first, then check parts.

អានគំនិតទាំងមូលជាមុន សិនហើយពិនិត្យផ្នែកតូចៗបន្ទាប់។

Self‑Check: What does “He gave up his dream” mean?

It means he stopped trying. Khmer: គាត់បោះបង់សុបិនរបស់គាត់។ “give up” is an idiom (not literal “give”).
