securing funding by the board, assisted in preparing board submissions to gain
funding and endorsement of the proposed plans for the IT Shared services
organization, lead the establishment of a risk managed change process for the
overall program of work, development of a high level plan for the establishment
of a single culture and staff engagement and communication plans for the
transition period, and assisted in defining key roles for the new organization.
The new IT Shared Services organization was established and gained the
necessary funding and support from the board. The overall program of work was
implemented using the risk management process which minimized delays and
allowed issues to be identified and acted on before they escalated. The
transition was achieved with minimal disruption to customers, and the provision
of IT services was maintained within agreed service levels.
